Despicable indeed. How was this allowed to happen, causing such massive inconvenience to thousands of LA residents? Most of us who travel from Hollywood to the valley use the Barham off-ramp. Absolutely despicable indeed.

I live near Runyan Canyon and use this exit all the time as does anyone coming to my house from the valley.

IT IS A DISGRACE that this was allowed to happen. Our neighborhood was misled and totally left out of the loop.

Closing this ramp only creates back ups and traffic problems. Who in the world thinks it's a good idea to close a busy off ramp and make it harder for people to get where they need to go? This is crazy!!!

We bought our house because of the easy drive on and off the Barham exit. I don't see how the new on-ramp will help people leaving Universal Studio since the new on-ramp will only create traffic on Cahuenga for people turning onto Universal drive. Now there will be traffic to get on the 101 North on-ramp too. Just to clarify Universal Studios is not Disneyland, we have never experienced traffic in and around Universal. We never had issues with leaving the park or getting to the park or the freeway. We only experienced a slight traffic during Halloween in the evenings only. Completely doable but taking away a off ramp that we based our home purchase is unfair!!!!!!

It is a shame that Universal felt the need to be deceptive and call this ramp the "Bennett Drive offramp" in their materials. This ramp services thousands of residents and businesses and absolutely needs to stay open. The new onramp's proximity to the Barham offramp is no closer than hundreds of other off/on ramps in the city state and country; some are even blended so I don't see this as an issue. Keep the ramp open and everyone will be happy.

I have lived in the Cahuenga Pass for 26 years. The Barham Blvd. offramp has served our community extremely well. Universal should not be closing any ramps without community input. It is a horrid idea and should be reversed immediately!

Even at 6:10am the back up and slow down because the Barhamexit is closed is frustrating!
