Do you remember walking around Disney’s California Adventure Park wishing for a good laugh? Well most of those wishes came true by the genie in the Aladdin show, but that will soon come to an end. Disney released an article stating that they will be removing this attraction on January 10, 2016 to make room for a new frozen attraction. Whether you saw the show once or 100 times, you never left the auditorium with disappointment. From wonderful props and stage designs to fabulous performances by the entire cast, the show came together in a way that has never been done before. Frozen has had its fame, and should be recognized for its remarkable editing team and catchy soundtrack, but taking out a classic attraction that entertained thousands for years would be a tragedy. It is tough to see the Disney Company take out a classic Attraction based off of a great movie just to bring in a recently released film with a blurry future. It is far too early in Frozen’s life to be able to predict its popularity over many years. In the meantime, Disney has announced an expansion of the park for all things Star Wars. Adding frozen to the park is understandable due to its great amount of money gained by marketing, but why not do it in an expansion like Star Wars. There is no doubt that the expansion would cost a great deal of money—but Disney would make that money back within a few years if they keep up with production of movies. There are multiple alternatives that Disney can use to make a frozen Attraction and keep the Aladdin show exactly where it should be. By signing this petition, you agree that the decision that Disney will be making is not the most justifiable, and can be easily changed to make everyone happy. Thank you so much, because nothing will get done without your signature and support.
