You know what you have in Tucson. Do you know your Tempe fan base? Just the fact they are Tucson makes Phoenix hate them already. Same as U of A does not mix well with Arizona State fans. There is some hatred between the two cities.

To clarify this move a little: The Coyotes have twice been evicted from their own rink in the past 20-something years they've existed. As their ownership group is HORRIBLE and basically nobody wants them in/around PHX anymore, they're now having to sell off the team, leaving a vacancy at Mullett Arena (so, consider this the 3rd lease they're breaking). Unfortunately, it's less expensive for the Roadrunners to break their contract with TCC/City of Tucson, hence the decision to ultimately try and move the team up to PHX to fill the void that Meruelo and his "incredible business prowess" created.

Why would the Roadrunners move to Tempe if the main league is moving to Utah? Makes not sense to move them to another location in AZ, unless it's 100% greed. We love our Roadrunners Please do not move them!!!
