As a Tucson native who has loved the game of hockey for 31 years, in 2004 the only ice rink in Tucson was closed and unless you traveled 120 miles to
See it/Play it/etc hockey was virtually non-existent unless it was on TV or a video game, to see the hockey community grow as much as it has in the 8 short years is truly amazing, from Tv and Video games, to roller hockey street hockey ICE HOCKEY! they talk hockey they live it, people are skating and enjoying something that always seemed completely out of reach just due to location and situations now the hockey community is growing, the development of young athletes has grown and the love of the game in Tucson has been something that can only go up from here.
Please leave the roadrunners in Tucson to continue this growth of the game.

Please keep the Roadrunners in Tucson! The junior program has grown so much in Tucson because the AHL/NHL assistance has encouraged many first time junior skaters to begin playing hockey.

We really need them, not only as something fun to watch but even more importantly for the youth and adult leagues that essentially won't be feasible without the Roadrunners presence
