I have been a season ticket holder since 2011. The team did not get very much exposure through the media or advertising. How do you expect people to go to the games if they don't know about the team? I sat through the 2013 season and yes, the attendance was poor. Look at how poor Pirate game attendance was when they were losing and they were on the news daily. I watched the crowds get bigger with each home game last year just by word of mouth. Can you imagine if they had just twice as much exposure -- we would have had sell out crowds,
Pittsburghers love their sports teams and will support them.
