I started at this school in kindergarten in 2004. Although I am not catholic, this school has shaped my life with Christ. I am forever grateful for this school and the teachers. Please keep it open.

The closing of any Catholic school is a tragedy for the students, parents, teachers, and our faith. In order for these closings to end please call your Bishop and superintendent and implore them to support the bill entitled "The New Jersey Property Tax Relief and Education Empowerment Act" (A3961). This bill provides school choice and uses the savings to substantially lower property taxes for all homeowners and businesses. This game-changing bill will change the environment from one where Catholic schools close to one where they flourish. -Here is the link to the bill itself: https://legiscan.com/NJ/bill/A3961/2018

My two children who are now in their late 30s attended Our Lady of Peace in New Providence New Jersey. Both are kind ,considerate and have a wonderful religious background. I know that Our Lady of Peace helped us as parents to provide this foundation. I always felt very comfortable with them going out to school knowing that they were in good hands. Our community needs Our Lady of Peace to remain open to continue to provide the wonderful education and religious foundation to all the children that follow. Please do not close our Lady of Peace ,Our children and our community Depend on it..

Please reconsider closing this school. It is too good a school and parish to let this happen. We need more schools like this to stay open. Not close!

My son Giovanni Martinetti, class of 2013 graduated from AOLP with an incredible education. Here he was nurtured, encouraged and allowed to grow into the wonderful person he is today. He has been awarded scholarships to the finest catholic high school and to Drew university. His groundwork for success was started at AOLP. There is so much care, love given and acceptance of each student for exactly who they are. Please keep this school open so other students can benefit from this education like my son did. This is truly a wonderful school that deserves to continue.

Please don’t close our school. I’m in the 4th grade at AOLP and I really want to be able to go back to my school with my friends. I miss them and all my teachers.

Where are students from this area supposed to go? Not all of them are Catholic ,but that doesn’t matter OLP offers a great education They say young families don’t support the Church. Seems like it’s the other way around. And tuition is too high. We went through this at OLL , Fight this.We stayed open for years and then merged with Holy Trinity, but some of our student came up the hill to OLP and were welcomed there. A loving, Christian community. Now my grandchildren are in Catholic grammar school. Please don’t close 10 of these schools at the end of the year.
