Catholic School has to start thinking outside of the box.
It’s the year 2020, all of our innovative and creative minds need to sit down and come together and solve this situation for our kids.
Positive Thoughts everyday & Hoping for a better tomorrow for Catholic Schools.

Reconsider, the church is already losing the young parishioners. Closing schools is hurting the churches too.

My niece is a student at The Academy of Our Lady of Peace and has been working very hard at home during this pandemic. During this difficult time, it’s unfair to the students and mentally challenging for them to have to worry and be more stressed about where they will attend school in the Fall. Please keep their school open. Thank you!

My niece has already endured this once having to rush to find a new Catholic school and now faces a majir challenge ti find a Catholic school in her area for her 8th grade year. Many have policies that they will not accept new 8th graders.
She is also bright and kind both influenced by her education at AOLP. But being forced to leave at a unprecedented time like this is highly stressful for young people and disregards any true care for the students or the community of AOLP.

As someone who was looking forward to celebrating my 50-year reunion in 2021, this comes as a gut-punch. If you value Catholic education at its best, dedicated teachers and administration, and exceptional students, please carefully reconsider this decision made at a time when our Faith has already withstood untold and unprecedented challenges. We are an Easter people. Please help students, parents, faculty, and administration be able to shout Alleluia!

This is a travesty. Closing a school is always a difficult choice, but during this difficult time and without anywhere for the students to go is wrong. They will never go back into their school again or say goodbye to their teachers. It’s wrong on every level and certainly not Christian.

Please keep the school open! My friends children are enrolled there. My own children went to St. Rose in Belmar NJ and I can’t imagine finding out their school was closed from some random email in the middle of this pandemic. Please the children need their education to count on!!

To say we are disappointed is an understatement. Our son is completing his 1st year at AOLP, Kindergarten. He will turn 6 in June, we turn 61. Finding the perfect place for him has proven a challenge. We found the perfect place at AOLP! We have nothing but praise for the faculty, staff and Fr. Bill in their dedication and fulfillment of their ministries for our children and families. They have represented the core value of Catholic education and executed the true values of Jesus. To have all of it ripped away from us is an injustice and disservice to our community. I implore the leadership to reconsider this decision and pray for the future of our school.

Please keep this school open! I have two family members who will now be looking for a new job because of this wrong decision. There will over 100 families who have to now find new schools so late when many schools are full for enrollment at this late in the process! All things that should not be happening during a time like this. Not the way to show appreciation to teachers during what was supposed to be teacher appreciation week!
