speed cameras are not the answer. Until the road is dualled it would be much cheaper and effective to put up more signs and directional arrows on the road so that people know whether they are on a dual carriageway or not.

Just travelled Inverness to Perth average speed 50 mph was all i could achieve with heavy goods to overtake how will speed cameras help.

This road's layout more than lends itself to having the speed limit of HGVs lifted to 50mph. This will make it safer for other road users and be more productive and money saving for freight transport companies.

Average speed cameras will only cause more frustration and therefore more accidents . Spend the money on bringing forward dualling works . Address the root cause , don't just fudge the issue with speed cameras .
