We, the undersigned, beseech that you will allow Teddy to keep his tail, at least until Gae Gae Elaine (Teddy's grandmother) can see it.
While we acknowledge this may bring some embarrassment for you, that needs to be measured against the joy we will get when Gae Gae sees it for the first time.

I really never thought this would gain so much traction but here we are and Gae Gae Elaine is going to be so surprised when she hears about all of you. Liz has to pay attention now because the sheer amount of people who want Teddy to keep his tail is just overwhelming and honestly a little bit wild to think about.

Liz, I get why you want that cute tail gone, but it’s only a few more days and then you will have the pleasure of Gae Gae’s response which I’m sure will be priceless!
#braidthetail #covidtail Liz, this is not a joke. Teddy needs this tail. We all need this tail. We should have a race, teddy’s tail or a covid vaccine. We basically get to bet how long his tail will be by the time a vaccine get developed. I will set the line at 6 inches.
