Any other business would have to justify such an increase. What has the council done or providing to warrant an increase that size.? The fayre is a tradition that brings in visitors that leave with great memories.

We lose this and the whole carnival may as well be scraped. That will kill off tourists for the summer months, Not a good idea for Aldeburghs economy. The idea of summer at Aldeburgh and the carnival to finish off the school holidays is a massive pull for the town.
