There is no reason to be angry, seeing as gems do not have actual genders. I'd like to add that fusing is a completely normal thing, people don't need to be bugging out like seeing two space rocks literally becoming one big one as some sort of "lesbian brainwashing" or w/e.. People just need to chill out. And trying to censor "Rose's Scabbard"? Unacceptable. There's nothing even related to that in there. Unless they're mentioning Pearl and Rose, though that is clearly a more Knight-Queen relationship.

If they don't like it, they don't have to watch it. It's not their right to take away something that everyone else likes simply because they don't like it. Typically this is called selfishness. And if they're afraid their kids are going to become LGBT+ just from watching a show, clearly they have more problems than the show itself and she be seeking guidance from someone.
