Gems are canonically non-binary, so the "lesbian" label doesn't really even apply here.

The gems are considered 100% genderless, as confirmed by the creator of the show herself. Even if they weren't genderless, children need to be able to see a healthy relationship between two people that aren't a "regular" cis, straight couple. It's the Good Luck Charlie fiasco again, there shouldn't be any reason to object to something as simple as a same sex couple (in this case, two she/her using genderless gems, who arent even referred to as a woman by anybody that knows them personally) without being seen as homophobic. Your son or daughter wont turn out gay because of different representation on television. Get over it.

i'm not gonna let some homophobic assholes ruin a wonderful show like steven universe and its wonderful representation, i was so happy when i saw even that minimal amount of lgbt representation, please don't destroy this wonderful and beautiful show

Anything that is not straight is always inappropriate. Lars and Sadie madeout and no one said a thing. A queer couple share a kiss that wasnt even on the lips and everyone's losing it, wanting to censor it.

Love is love. I live in a house with homophobic people and the only person supportive is my sister and I. My mother does not like that I am Genderfluid and Pansexual but I can tell you that I have found such a handsome trans ftm and I love them with everything I have. Love is love no matter what.

Parents who feel as through this should censored and//or off the air should just shut the fuck up and deal with it. It's a beautiful cartoon and it's actually wholesome and better for them to watch than most of the other shows on CN

this episode was one of my favorites in the series and I don't want it censored because of two gems supposedly both of them are girls but they are not from earth so it should be okey for them
