It is disgusting that anybody feels that this needs to be censored.

I find it sad that other people's prejudice will limit something so beautiful.

When I was a kid, I felt so alone in my queerness. I would have killed to have someone like Garnet or Rose or Pearl to look up to. No kid deserves to feel how I felt, and taking this representation from them would just be cruel.

These episodes are adorable and they matter to the story as well if you take them off you're losing important content. The gems are genderless, but even if they weren't it shouldn't matter anyway love is love and nothing should get in the way of it.

These are actually two of my favorite episodes. I don't want them to change a single thing about them. Besides, I don't think a simple kiss or a moment of holding hands is going to corrupt our children. And truth be told, I kinda thought Ruby was a guy.

totally agreeing with this. As a well popular children's show it shows children that it's okay to be who you are, and stuff like this is normal, as it is.

This was an awesome moment in the series & also for me cause I felt connected in a special way to the characters & felt as if, for the first time, same sex relationships were just about love & not something weird or uncommon.

I would like to express my upmost sympathies towardsthe parents against this display in a kids show in the following words; Get a goddamn brain and grow up, you whining backwards little pricks! I get it, I really do. You liked it better when cartoons only showed children heterosexual couples, cus that's the only acceptable love in your eyes. And now you're all upset and offended that a cartoon like Steven Universe actually started looking fowards, and showed your kids that love between two of the same gender exists and is perfectly fine. But if you're really that outraged, that Cartoon Network stopped pandering to your narrow minded idiocy, call the WAHmbulance so they can play you a sad song on the worlds smallest violin, whist us fans and LGBT folk drink your tears.

I think this an incredibly positive and fantastic representation of an LGBT relationship. Why censor a positive image?

This made me so happy. I loved this episode and that seen. It was great.

I don't understand why people are angry about this. It is one of the first LGBT kisses on children's television, and its promoting the ideal that LGBT love is still love, even if it goes against some religions.
