I love steven universe so much, and this representation is very important to me! I'm tired of queer people being erased in media and this is really important, especially as steven universe is viewed by many young children.

HELL YEAH I'M GOING TO SIGN THIS. People need to accept that there are LGBT relationships and that it is the same as a heterosexual relationship. If you are religious and want to prevent your from "turning gay" you are a terrible parent and being a part of the LGBT community is not a choice. If it was a choice, then try to get a boner/get wet for a person of the same-sex. Doesn't work, does it?

As a lesbian I have to say that had children's television programs addressed me and people like me and acknowledged our existence when I was younger it would have saved me a lot of heart ache, self-denial, and self hatred growing up. The next generation of LGBT kids need to grow up knowing that they are normal, lovable, and not dirty, deviant, little secrets. No one else should have to wait until they're in their 20s to believe that.

I, for one, was ecstatic to see such genuine love portrayed in these episodes. These episodes should stay on the air and should be celebrated.

so many social experiments say that if you're not shown in a show/cartoon, you can be negatively affected when you're a kid ! representation is important !

Just because someone doesn't want to take the time to explain to their devil-spawn that two girls can love each other just as much as a boy and a girl can love each other, and that it's PERFECTLY okay, DOES NOT mean that a wonderful show with fantastic representation and a beautiful plotline should have two of its BEST episodes censored or taken off the air. Honestly.

This scene is needed. It was wonderful and beautiful. There is nothing wrong with these episodes. Kids need to know this is okay, my friend's 2-year-old daughter was watching it and when this scene happened she happily exclaimed "LOOK HOW HAPPY THEY ARE!!!" And clapped excitedly. To me, there's nothing about that, that needs to be censored.

It would be ridiculous to take such an important step forward only to take two steps back. Keep it on the air, show all children that you care.
