Representation is essential to children of all ages, genders, and identities, and should not be dictated by a handful of homophobic parents.

This show is amazing and so health for kids to watch. I hope CN listens to us because kids need this show.

Agreed - This show is fantastic and it is a very weak argument. People don't just "turn gay" because they see two girls or two men kissing each other. Fathers sometimes kiss their sons on the forehead or say "I love you son". That doesn't make them gay. Mothers kiss daughters and that doesn't make them lesbian. It's like saying that "I don't want African Americans on TV because I don't want my kids to be black."

This is very wrong.Extremely wrong.Steven Universe is a wonderful show.It does not deserve to be cancelled just because some paranoid parents think that their children will be homosexual if they see one female presenting couple kiss on the TV.Meanwhile,on the other end,you have the homosexuals, who thrive for their favourite show to have some decency to pull off a proper gay representation. And Steven Universe achieved that, only to be claimed 'bad' and 'wrong' and 'unethical' and 'sinful' by close-minded parents.I bet your kids wouldn't have any problem with watching Sapphire and Ruby kiss if you hadn't made such a big fuss about it.Honestly.

TV shows don't determine a kid's sexuality; if your kid is gay, it's not because of a fictional couple they saw on TV, it's because that's the way they were born. And the relationship between Ruby and Sapphire isn't even obviously romantic. It's very subtle, and a little kid could easily pass it off as being platonic.

Let's think practical about this. What the heck does it do? Nothing negative. It can't TURN anyone homosexual/bi/etc because that's not how that works. It's not presenting LGBT people as superior or anything but equal people who can feel as much love and care as anyone else. That and as everyone else is pointing out, the characters are essentialy genderless with female looks. Calm down, there's shows that get away with actualy bad stuff out there. Besides, it was just a kiss on the eye. Please calm down.

I hate how people are trying to act like LGBTs don't exist

Adults who try to censore this so are ignorant. There is no harm being done and if they took the time to actually watch the show, they would de how well written the characters and story is. Please keep Steven universe as it is.

This show is the best thing to happen to cartoon network since adventure time and even that show has lost Ward.

I see no reason to censor or cancel the show. It's not like they were making out. If you had almost lost a loved one or even best friend you'd probably do the same exact thing.
