They're genderless anyway, the LGBTQIA+ community needs some representation. Teach your kids instead of hiding this from them.

This show is brilliant and I was estatic to see cartoon characters who are seemingly LGBT. Keep it. Don't censor it.

I see no harm in letting a child see this, if the parents of the ch8ld or children do not like it they could block it themselves with their cable companies.

If you are so concerned with salvation, examine your own sins and transgressions. It is not your place to stab at specks when your own eyes are clouded.

It is the duty of a parent to police what their child sees, not what other people's children sees. There are actual loving and understanding families out there using shows like this as an opportunity to open frank discussions. It is hateful and detestable to call for censorship so that a few unprepared parents may avoid speaking with their own children.

I am sick of living in homophobic society. If you can handle it doesn't mean you have to ruin it for everyone else!

In this day and age, the world is continuously changing. Is it so wrong that a network is trying to show children that something like this is alright? When people are constantly dying for being what they are, when they're being berated for liking a certain gender or wanting to be a certain way. Everyone deserves to be loved, and everyone deserves to have their own voice and their own character. It is no human being's right to censor love. Love has no labels. A child is not influenced by only what they see but by the hand that feeds them and also the voice that teaches them. If a parent believes something is wrong, they will educate their child in the same way as to protect them. But that is where ignorance comes from. It is okay to protect your child, but you must also let that child have their own choice. Have their own beliefs. Ruby and Sapphire are just that, a belief. An experience. We have dealt with these things before from racism to gender disputes and time and time again, we've overcome them. Why is it now that we have to take something so beautiful and corrupt it? A homosexual couple doesn't look towards a heterosexual couple and shame them for their love, so why should it be done vice versa? This is a signal that the world must wake up and realize that what we're doing, censoring such things, is wrong. Steven Universe should not be cancelled. It is an experience that many children need to know of. A boy that is learning about life, even without his mother and is empowered by his friends and learning to fight with his own abilities. There is no shame in that. There is only honest and truth. Rebecca Black and all others that are so graciously giving us this opportunity to broaden our horizons. And even if you still disagree. Remember. Their love is stronger than you.

I agree 100%. Love is a serious issue, and people that want to censor it is dumb.
