St. Louis is a wonderful school. My neice is lucky to attend and very happy there. What a special thing it is today to be able to walk to school and experience a real connection to the community that you live in -- something that is quickly and tragically disappearing.

It is short sighted to close our beloved school. Young families are moving into our community in droves, it does not make any sense to close our school and bus these children to schools that are already at or over capacity. Nor does it make any sense that these children would be moved into a feeder school for a completely different high school than the one that is walking distance from St. Louis. Please save our school!

As a physician and previous graduate from St. Louis, I am grateful for the education I have received there and its impact on my career path. We shouldn't deny those same opportunities to the children that currently attend that institution today.
