I agree completely... We live at Lake Forest really close to school and is unbelievable after all this years the county is thinking to move our children to other school. My 3 older kids when to Northwood long ago now they are in their 20's and our youngest is in kindergarten.......Northwood is part to our lifes is(was) the second house for our kids. Is our right to fight back and we will.

We live in the Barrington Farms subdivision, and please ask you consider keeping our neighboring Spring Ridge friends, colleges and parent volunteers at Northwood. This would be a big loss to Northwood and very disruptive to many of the families. My daughter is part of the Northwood Girl Scout troop which consists of several girls from Spring Ridge, including one of the Troop Leaders herself. This is such a phenomenal group of young girls who are focused on giving back to the community, taking on leadership roles and friendship. Thank you for your consideration. Mike and Melissa Schwenker

It just doesn't make sense to move us to a school that would be a longer drive/bus ride away for our children when there is a school we currently can and do walk to.

Springridge is so close to Northwood they can walk. The proposal as it stands now moves Springridge to Hillside. There are numerous other neighborhoods that cannot walk to Northwood and a change for them to go to Hillside vs Northwood would not be a change in distance. However, these other neighborhoods are left at Northwood and Springridge is moved to Hillside. Where is the logic behind this?? Leave Springridge at Northwood.

Northwood is 1 mile away from my home, hillside is 3.5 miles away. The re-zoning makes no sense. Please don't disturb what doesn't need fixing.

Northwood is our neighborhood school. My children went to school there and people move to Soring Ridge because of Northwood and the parents that are so active in their neighborhood school. Why are you determined to take that away from us?

School rezoning could be done without affecting the existing parents/kids, I know how difficult it would be to move the kids to different school with new environment and friends. I support that few kids in nearby should stay with this school till they graduate.
