Keep Spring Ridge at Northwood! The move will also affect their home sales, as Northwood people considering moving to the larger homes across the street to Spring Ridge, would then have to move schools as well.

There is no need to move whole neighborhoods out of the Northwood district. Northwood is currently under capacity with no portable classrooms & projected to remain under capacity if the current district remains the same. Please don't change the Northwood district,

Spring Ridge has been an integral part of Northwood community. Spring Ridge parents volunteer countless hours and take up PTA posts of various levels. Kids here have been attending Northwood ever since it opened its door in 1996. Please put students and families first in your planning.

The board needs to listen to the community and see that this move is going against all logic.

As an educator in Forsyth county and an administrator in a neighborhood school, I know the impact and importance of keeping children close to home in a "community" school. What are the reasons for taking community out of school? And how can those reasons over-ride a child's positive educational experience?

We want to keep Spring Ridge as part of our community and school. They are an integral part of both! Keep them at Northwood!

The redistricting lines make ABSOLUTELY no sense. Do your job, people!

This school is one of the reasons I plan on moving into this neighborhood this year.

I've watched my neighbors fight tirelessly over the past several months to keep Spring Ridge at Northwood. They have followed the process set forth by the county - only to be completely disregarded and go unheard. We simply as the Board of Education to re-evaluate this process and the maps before voting. They can vote no. Keep Spring Ridge at Northwood. Keep our neighborhood at our neighborhood school -keep our streets safer with less congestion and shorter commutes and the ability to walk. Please consider your actions.

The Northwood Community would not be the same without Spring Ridge. Our children have grown up together, participate in sports, clubs, after school programs, camps, church together. The parents at Spring Ridge are very active with the PTA, Room Parents, and other volunteer positions at the school. Removing the neighborhood would have a negative impact on the community as a whole. Please reconsider this decision!

I do not understand the logic of moving these families from Northwood, especially when you consider they can and do walk to school. Also quality of life will drop with additional time spent in commute.

Spring Ridge should stay at Northwood for all of the reasons listed in this document.
