Removing sports for 6th period will not allow freshmen and sophomores to be academically challenged as well as physically active, especially when dealing with APs that take up 2 periods

Giving Pe plus sports and making sports practice longer after school by not giving it with sixth period leaves students with less time to do homework after school and get a healthy sleep.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in regards to school representative athletics. The sports teams bring additional recognition to the school. Team participation has always been a graded class and should remain as such. It is unfair to the freshman and sophomores to force them to take general PE when they are rostered on a school sports team.

If this happens we will skip high school sports. The kids already have to much work as it is..

Keep sports 6 th period so student atheletes don't have to do PE as well. This increases the risk of injury. PE is a waste of time and money

Keep sports during 6th period so student athletes can have time to study and finish homework at a decent hour

I think that ghchs should have the kids practice during 6th period because some of the athletes still have hw that they don't finish during study hall or just might have plans with family and friends

I am on a sport and by doing this I am not going to have any time for hw!!!!! What about students taking more APs, when r we suppose to do homework and projects and study

It seems like Granada continues to take its sports program as a joke, how could PE kids be more important than sports that actually produce money at their events? Nobody pays to watch a freshman play field hockey or run a mile. This is ridiculous and I hope the AD reads this. Granada sports need to be taken more serious.

Granada must take care of their athletes all the same as their average students. The sports represent the school and play for the school therefore should be accommodated as such.

In my opinion, the current model works to the benefit of student athletes.

Students should not have to do Pe for a sport is much more than that. And the students have homework and other things to do after school

I believe it is a bad choice to make sports teams practice after school and make freshman and sophomores take P.E.

Don't change sports to after school. Students will barely have time to do homework after school if they have both P.E. and sports. A sport is basically like P.E. because you exercise and work out, so if students had both then they would get double workout everyday and have a lot of stress after school at getting their homework done. And since they would have a 0 period, the students won't get a lot of sleep because of them staying up all night doing their homework. Let students have a study hall where they can do homework or study for their classes.

Taking away the ability to play sports during school and forcing it into an after-school activity will only decrease the participation of students in GHCHS sports teams.

Keep sports during 6th period because making them after school will just add more stress to the students. Students need time to study during school and do homework. Think about all the stress you are going to put them through if you make them do P. E. and sports. So keep sports during 6th period.
