Scott puts his whole heart into teaching. He is dedicated to the academic development and overall well-being of his students. While other professors read mindlessly from powerpoint slides, Scott prepares for classes like an actor prepares for the stage. His lectures are engaging, intentional, and memorable. Please give Scott the credit he deserves.

Scotts one of, if not the, best and most effective professors in the econ department. This would be a massive disservice to current and future econ majors.

You can tell Scott is a great professor because everyone loves him even though his classes are harder than many others in the major. Usually students resent difficult classes, but in the econ department, 102A and 102B — the most difficult core classes – are also the most popular. Scott teaches probability in a way that makes its most complex concepts totally intuitive. He is a unique talent in the department and the school, and decreasing his class load would be a terrible mistake.

Scott is, without a doubt, one of the best instructors I've had during my Stanford career. His enthusiasm towards teaching comes through in every lecture, and I've probably learned more from him than in any other Econ class. The 102 series and Econ137 are all amazing classes that'll suffer without Scott. If anything, he should be paid more so that future Econ students continue to have the privilege of learning under him.

Scott is by far the best teacher in the economics department. He is one of the few that teaches us concepts and skills we will ACTUALLY apply in the "real world" post-Stanford. Don't cut his class load please. If anything, pay him to teach MORE classes.

Scott McKeon is hands down the best professor I have ever had in my entire 4 years at Stanford. His ability to break down hard concepts and teach them to students is truly one of a kind. Cutting any of his classes would be doing future Stanford economics students a major disservice.

Scott is one of the best professors I have ever had! Speaking as an economics student/peer advisor/TA, I truly believe that his classes are crucial to everyone wanting to go into economics and they set up such a good foundation for higher-level economics courses. I believe the 102 series are such a crucial part of the economics core and ECON 137 is such a rich field/elective course.

Respectfully, pay the administration less and pay Scott more. He has done far more to enrich my Stanford education compared to any top-level administrative figure. If Stanford’s financial state is liquid enough to reinstate 11 varsity sports, paying Scott to teach one or two more of his phenomenal courses can’t be a far cry.

Scott has hands down been the best professor I've had in the Economics Department at Stanford over my four years. The way he makes learning both enjoyable and challenging is a true gift. I've taken all three of his classes (my three best taught classes at Stanford) and cutting down his classes would be a very big mistake.

Scott McKeon is by far the best stats professor in this school (biased opinion, but also widely shared amongst undergrads, grad students, and faculty who have taken his courses)

Scott McKeon is the reason I am an Economics major. He is by far the most talented econ professor I’ve had, and although I scored on the lower end in both his 102 classes, I could not recommend him highly enough to future students. He cares, he just ... cares

Scott McKeon is one of the best educators I've had the privilege of learning from, beyond just Stanford. Scott's ability to break down dense and complicated concepts into intuitive ways of thinking is one of the most well-known, appreciated, and praised parts of the Stanford Economics curriculum among students. The department will surely suffer without his instruction.

Professor McKeon is one of the best professors that I have ever had during my time at Stanford so far. Losing him would be a huge loss to every future student that has to take the 102 series.
