I was a mentor headlands resident when this happened as a teenager it was heartfelt in our community for the hays family. We now as a community ask that the parole board deny parole to Scott Grant as he took it upon himself to take such a precious person's life. He took one of our own.

People like Scott Grant who commit violent crimes such as the unwarranted murder of Michelle Hayes do not deserve to ever be released from custody let alone granted parole. It is bad enough that the public has to put up with the fact he will one day be released. let him serve every day of his 40 year sentence.
