I will never forget the horror I felt for this poor girl when it happened. In my opinion he deserved way more than he got but he at the very LEAST needs to serve every second of his sentence

She was a childhood friend of mine that i will never forget. Michelle was shy , caring , and always wanting to make people laugh . Her and i had so many laughs in Jr .high together. I miss her and thunk about her alot . All that she has missed and the awful way she left us. Please keep him locked up.

I remember this case very well. Scott Grant's trial was the first time I got called to jury duty. I was about 21-22 years old. I remember thinking he was a monster. Thankfully I was excused from jury duty because my father was in law enforcement. I didn't want to hear the details of what he had done to Michelle. What I read in the newspaper was more than enough. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Hayes family.
