I was friends with Dawn and Michelle's mother, years ago. We were so shocked when this murder happened. A precious life was taken and Scott needs to pay for it. Should have to spend his entire life in prison.

To this day I have never heard a sound like that Michelles mother made at the funeral. The sound of pain coming from her has stayed with me all this time, it is horrible to hear a mother mourn for her murdered daughter. Let this punk stay in jail for as long as possible.

though I never knew Michelle, her heinous murder was very disturbing. Every time I drive down Hopkins road, I think of her and the horrible way she died at the hands of 2 awful people. After seeing their pictures in the paper I realized we had seen both of these guys once at McDonald's just up the street. We'd taken our children there for supper on a beautiful summer evening and sat outside at a picnic table to eat. Both these guys sat at a nearby table. We had to move because their language and behavior was so rude, crude, and disgusting. They showed no respect for themselves nor others around them. They acted worse than two rabid animals. Please keep this animal locked up where he cannot hurt anyone else.

We remember so well this horrific torture and murder of Michelle Hayes. This young girl lost her life at the hands of two monsters. Sadly, one has already been paroled. I believe Scott Grant should not be released until he has severed every day of his 40 year sentence. Thank you for taking the time to read all of the petitions requesting he be kept in prison.

This happened just a few houses away from my parent's home. It doesn't seem like it was 30 years ago. He should serve his full sentence. Too bad it was only 40 years.
