A horrible crime. I live in the area where this happened and remember the case. I am 2 years younger than Michelle. It was terrifying to know that someone could not only murder, but maim her body and bury her like that. Terrible. He should serve the 40 years.

Please don't let this man out to do to someone again what he did to this innocent beautiful girl. He deserves to have his life taken like he took hers. He's lucky to even live in prison. Michelle's poor family does not deserve to run into him on the street someday. Can you imagine the horror her sister would feel seeing him face to face after all these years?! Dawn your strength inspires me. As a mother and a sister I cannot imagine living such a nightmare. I have sent a letter to the parole board so that monster can do every minute of his 40 years.
