PLEASE keep scope! Mr. Joe & his staff have been professionally taking care of our child since she started at Dever in Kindergarten. As working parents We need trustworthy and depenedable staff to supervise our child after school.
We don’t understand why this wasn’t discussed with the parents? How can a decision that affects us and our children be even considered without any discussion or vote from us?

I am outraged that a decision to change Scope ASP to another provider was not discussed with the most important stakeholders, PARENTS. As a working parent with a very busy schedule, I need support and dependability in the supervision and structure of my children. Scope has provided this consistently to my family for the past 6 years.

Very concerned of what’s going on. I DEPEND on the SCOPE program. My daughter attends this program and she’s VERY happy and so am I. Especially because she spends so many hours here. I feel confident and comfortable of the service the SCOPE staff provides to the kids. They have so many activities not just fun but also learning activities. And I feel safe leaving my daughter Here because she’s in good hands. I don’t eve have a complaint for the program only good recommendations. I mean every time I pick up my daughter she doesn’t want to leave because she’s happy. Now for me that’s the most important thing. If I’m paying for a service I want to be happy and in this case my daughter is. So please do think twice before considering parents’ opinions especially our kids.

After school programs are extremely important for children who either need extra help academically or to keep them off the streets. Taking that away from them is dangerous. What will they do, who will help them? Find somewhere else to cut money from.

As parents, we have had our daughter our daughter in Scope since Kindergarten. It has been a reliable program and the communication with us has been superb. Mr. Joe along with his amazing staff have been a reliable source for us; and I am sure for other parents. The school district needs to stop making decisions based on their own agenda and wants. We pay the TAXES = We have the VOICE

I have a few concerns if Scope will no longer be the afterschool program. Let me start off by saying, I'm very happy with the afterschool program. There is no reason to change something that works. I'm concerned for my son, he has special needs and they help him with an ongoing bathroom issue that he feels comfortable with them and they are very good with him. Mr. Joe is very good and on top of everything and everyone that works their as well. Plus, I have already paid for next year and would not be happy if I had to pay more!

Scope is a great after school program. Joe does a great job running it and he is so great with all the kids. My family has come to depend on the Svope program as an extension of the Dever school. Please keep Scope.

I was quite shocked that there was a plan to replace SCOPE. My kids have been in SCOPE for 7 years since Kindergarten and has been the best after school program. They not only provide help with homework but have provided a place where my kids were nurtured and cared for. The District should have reached out to the parents since their decision will effect a lot of families who depend so much on this before and after school program. I am disappointed in how this was handled. Our voices should have been heard.

Mr Joe and his team are amazing and it would be a shame not to have him there. This should have been addressed with us first. Plus if the hours and cost could affect us that would not be acceptable to make the change once again not addressing us first.
