PLEASE keep in mind that this school is the only shot at some children's start to a great education. These primary years of school are so instrumental in shaping a child's outlook on what education is really all about and how important it is.

Children deserve to have a good education, and to remove this school is not only detrimental to the children's education, but will also negatively impact the parents. Parents want what's best for their kids, and they deserve great education through great programs. I pray that the decision that is made will be in the best interest of the children and parents. Thank you

FACT: "While data regarding the school’s current year of student performance is not yet available, the school has a long history of academic performance well below Clayton County and state averages, and the school did not demonstrate its ability to increase academic performance this year or in the future. When controlling for student population in GOSA’s value-add analysis, the school remains an under-performing school compared to both Clayton County and the state." FALSE: The statistics on DOES's website will show that our school has not under performed since its inception. Please highlight more than just the 2013 test scores. This Commissions position was made clear; “the school has a long history of academic performance well below Clayton County and state averages” . No way was the decision based on 2013 scores along. If the school was sincere is its attempts, highlight the CRCT scores from 2008-2013, not just 2013.
