I support the program 100%. First responders can make it to the scene of a medical call or tragedy minutes faster than a ambulance sometimes can which definitely saves lives!!

It would be pure ignorance to not keep this vital community resource available but then again some of those in govt fit the mold of pure ignorance

While I do not live in west city. I am a volunteer firefighter and a full time emt for williamson county. Their importance of first responders in a community is crucial to the citizens and us medics for pre hospital care. We always can not get there very fast depending on where the ambulance is coming from and we rely on these first responders to get to the scene and treat the patients.

Closing down the first responder program is a huge mistake! Many lives are saved every year because of first responders getting to a patient quickly. Every second counts in many life threatening situations. It would be in the city's best interest to reinstate this program.
