Ron is the best professor I have ever had. He truly cares about his students in a way that no other professor can compare. He takes an interest in his students achievement throughout the semester. A perfect example of this is when he gave up his Friday night to come to the School For the Deaf, where many of his students were volunteering. This wasn't the first time he has done this. The Deaf Studies program will suffer without Ron Fenicle. Best wishes to Ron!!

Let's not be ridiculous- they would not have kept him all year if he had truly done anything wrong. I've heard the department chair hasn't liked him for awhile and finally got her way. Not a huge surprise being that audiologists have all sorts of issues with deaf people. Just too bad cause he has always been spoken of very well. He's helped and taught many students over the years. Hope Towson realizes what a poor decision this is. Wishing this amazing professor all the best! #RonStrong

Ron Fenicle is truly a valuable asset to the Deaf Studies staff at Towson University. Reflecting as a recent graduate, Ron set a high standard, challenging and motivating all students to go above and beyond a superficial comfort level. Ron showed us a new variety of signing. He is compassionate, a great teacher, and as other people have said, he TRULY cares about the students' success in the field. Letting Ron go would be detrimental to the students and the whole program.

I am #RonStrong because he is the only Deaf studies professor left that generally cares. He has taken his time to teach me more than I cared to learn! He is the only professor I had that realized I was pregnant. Ron is an amazing teacher that pays attention to details others tend to miss! He is loved and respected more than he will ever know!

My wife always come home speaking of how much a joy Ron is to have as a professor, both for the lessons he teaches, but also for all of the help he is willing to provide to all of his students.
