The university has officially reversed their decision and Ron will be remaining with us. It is deeply moving to see how our collective resolve ensured that fairness prevailed in this situation. We should remain attentive as the semester progresses to ensure a smooth transition back to normalcy for him.

Hello everyone!

The rumor that this will be Ron's last semester teaching at Towson University is unfortunately true. For false accusations, Ron will be fired at the end of this semester.

What can YOU do?

We are passing along this petition to send to the Dean and the President of Towson to show our support to keep Ron here at Towson. Ron has positively affected our lives in many different ways and has supported us from day 1. Now it is OUR turn to support him!

Please sign and pass this petition along so that we may send this to the Dean and President and whoever it may concern.

Thank you!

Firing Ron is a huge mistake, and honestly the department makes me feel sick inside for doing this to a wonderful person and professor. He helps our our asl club so much and to disrespect him is to disrespect us.

As a parent of a Towson Deaf Studies major student, I know how valuable this professor is. We heard such great things about him before our daughter committed to Towson. It would be a mistake to let him go.

Coming from a background of experience in Deaf culture, Ron is by far the only professor I have had at Towson that respects and acknowledges all walks of life. Many people will attest to his genuity and skill as a professor. We will be losing a huge asset to the Towson Deaf Studies program if Ron is let go.

Ron is probably one of my favorite professors in the program. He always lifts up his students and never puts them down. A student is never wrong in his eyes, we are all just learning. He is a wonderful professor and the program would not be the same without him.

This man has given me the ability to move forward in my life because of the language he gave to each one of us. More than just a professor but a role model. We love Ron more than Towson could ever understand.

Ron is one of the sweetest teachers out there. He is so excited to see students learn more about deaf culture and ASL. He is so patient and helpful with students learning sign. Towson would have a major loss to their deaf studies department without Ron.

My daughter transferred from California to Towson, and its been a difficult adjustment, but from the moment she met Ron that's been her favorite teacher there. She has talked about how much he cares for his students, and goes out of his way to help and also keeps in touch with his students. It's hard to get teachers like that! My goodness look at all these signatures. There is an ex student from Australia who even commented and signed the petition!
