On May 8, 2016, our boxer dog, Rocky, accidently got out of his leash while being held by Brady Sartorius and jumped on the victim. The victim was injured with a scratch on her leg and a mark that was assumed to be a single bite mark. The victim said that it was no big deal and not to worry about it at which time my dad, Rick Sartorius, volunteered to cover any and all medical expenses. Since the incident over 2 months ago, the victim has now decided that they are pressing charges for the "dog bite" and have petitioned the city to have our dog removed. Mount Pleasant has one of the strictest dog bite laws, as most communities allow "one bite." This is our family dog and he has never been aggressive toward anyone. We are asking for your help in petitioning the city council to allow us to keep our dog or my parents will be forced to leave the community. So please if you would, sign to keep Rocky!
