One of the best. Some bus drivers have left international students at the curb when it was freezing-- but not rich. He made sure to look out for me when I am running towards the bus in terrible weather. I want them to let his stay as long as he wants. He is the hospitality king in that BG shuttle service.

Rich was a joyous addition to my years at BG. I jokingly called him grandpa rich after the one day he gave me the most encouraging words at just the right time. Had he not been there that moment, I may have ended up dropping out of school. This man is one of only 2 staff persons I remember and I am sad to here he won’t be there every homecoming. Class of 2008

The first time I met Rich we became friends. That’s how it was with everyone. He never forgot a face or a name & he was always friendly! He even tells me happy birthday via facebook every year & I haven’t been to BG in 2 years. The best bus driver ever!
