The aesthetics of the Historic Town Center are very important to the values that our town holds. We value open space, natural beauty and our unique history dating back to the 1700's. That is why our Town Center is registered with the state as a Historic District. We do not want to see a 140 foot monopole with arms and satellite dishes adjacent to our town green. We believe that there are alternatives to the proposed location, we would like other alternatives to be investigated. Ultimately we would like the proposed tower to be in the least offensive location for the historic district and the immediate neighbors of the Redding Police and for it to be designed as aesthetically attractive as possible.

1) It seems there actually is no need for a taller tower, so why are we even having to consider one? 2)It also seems this should be brought to a new vote since a) many people, myself included, were unable to attend the meeting where the vote was taken and b) there seems to be enough push-back to indicate the citizenry was not adequately informed and/or represent at the meeting.

No "tree" design that protrudes above the actual tree line should be approved. It is impossible to "camouflage" structures that are out of scale with the surrounding environment.

Who thought putting a giant cell tower right on the green was a smart idea? Totally ruins the historic look of the area. Find somewhere else.

This pole is unnecessary & not needed for the safety of our town. Update the current pole - dont build useless junk & put it in our town.
