Even though I don't like how he teaches I signed in to his class so I knew what I was getting in to and expectations for the class. Changing any professor in the middle of a semester is irresponsible. It will affect students directly. This is a already hard class where we passed for period of adaptation. Having another one is distracting and time consuming. Why the name of the professor is displayed at registration when the professor will be switched, not being in this case an emergency?

Dr.Bhavsar is the first teach who got me engaged and interested in a subject matter as a scientist. His class became my favorite and he is incredibly sincere. He wants his students to succeed and will go over any questions willingly. I would love to take another class he teaches and I have recommended him to all of my peers!

This would be highly disruptive to remove a professor mid semester.

Professor Bhavsar is very kind and wants what is best for the students. He doesn't teach for the money, but to help us learn. UCF shouldn't exploit professors in general by giving them too many classes to teach especially with several hundred students per class. There should always be a notice ahead of time given to the professor for he/she to prepare notes and a plan to follow. In professors Bhavsar's case, a very short notice was given and not only does he suffer, but the students education as well. Taking him out of the class midway through the semester would negatively affect us the students. Keep him teaching, and make the educational system better!! Students want to learn, 50 minute classes makes professors rush through the material most of the time and makes learning much more difficult especially when trying to grasp new material. Thank you.

I think saving Ramesh's job is part of the issue at least with how UCF may be handling it, granted i do not know UCF's position on all of this. More important is the fact that students PAY FOR a certain class with a certain teacher for a semester to learn the necessary material. If this does end up happening I would like to pursue receiving a refund based on I am not receiving what I expected and paid for through the services provided at UCF.

Not allowing Dr. Bhavsor to continue teaching sends a clear message to current students that UCF is not committed to providing a quality education and does not care about the welfare of its students.

One of the most genuine engineering professors while I was in school. When I had him 5 years ago, he had some room to grow, but he truly cared about the students. He should not be dropped.

Dr. Bhavsar is one of the few professors at UCF that actually seems passionate about teaching. He truly cares about his students and devotes most of his energy into making sure the material is covered thoroughly. I chose to take Thermo II with Dr. Bhavsar because I really liked his teaching style in Thermo I. It is extremely unfair to the students to interfere with their education by removing a professor from a course in the middle of a semester.

Dr. Bhavsar loves what he does, he inspires us during Thermodynamics Class.
