My mum went into respite care a few years ago, everybody so nice. This must not be allowed to happen.

I have worked in this home, it's really homely and comforting to clients, and it's size makes it more attractive. We need MORE of these smaller homes, as it has a family atmosphere, unlike larger ones.

What is the justification for closing the home. Is it because the location and age which limits the fees and does not appeal to the private sector . Where will the council funded pensioners reside .

The community cannot afford to lose this asset at a time when we need more not fewer care places for the elderly. Places elsewhere suffice . People need to be placed in their own community.

The stress experienced by elderly and vulnerable people when faced with this kind of upheaval is sufficient to endanger their lives. People before profit. The county council should take back control of this home and provide the residents with a secure future.

Keep Priorsmead open, it's a good care home & been there many years. Let's focus on shutting down care homes that the residents are mistreated and not well looked after and not leave the good homes hanging in the balance whether it is going to stay open or not. It's a disgrace to the care industry that good homes are threatened with closures. Priorsmead is a lovely little home & a resource needed in Thetford. Our population are getting older & living longer and our town is getting bigger, this is something people need to bare in mind.

We need to keep Priorsmead open . It is such a lovely home . Everyone is so nice in there . It is a home to a lot of people . Where will they go so that they can stay together ? The staff are really kind to the residents . I have witnessed this many times . Everyone is happy and settled . Please don't shut Priors mead down and make them unhappy .

This should stay open. My mother worked as a care assistant here for many years until her retirement. I myself would visit the residents as a child. Many happy memories.
