To the NEPSAC, ISL and other organizations considering banning winter sports: As parents, players and coaches, we strongly request that you allow prep school winter sports to go on as planned, with appropriate safety measures in place. We have only our children’s best interests at heart, but if students are able to attend school in person, they should be able to also participate in the sports they love. Kids are resilient and adaptable, and they can adjust to account for the measures that will keep them safe, like wearing masks and maintaining social distance when possible. Please sign below to indicate your agreement that prep school winter sports should have a full season – beginning December 1, 2020 - for the benefit of the kids.

The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to formally request a meeting with the NEPSAC board members. I am currently drafting a letter that outlines our position on safe participation and I expect to deliver it to their offices by the end of the week.

Enough is enough. They are safe in school so they should be safe on the ice too.

These kids are already in class together all day. Keeping them from sports makes zero sense at this point.
