I canot believe what they are doing I live in Fredonia ny and as soon as I get sat & sunday wmua polkas they bring in the most money and the are doing this bb &todd plus others work so hard to keep this tradition going if they discontinue I hope they go under

Polka music as a genre has to not be marginalized. Further, it's not good when a station takes fundraising dollars from the polka listeners, and then trashes them in this manner.

This is just terrible! I grew up with polka music in my life and it is just so sad to see it go! I love this music and the people involved as if they were my family. For years, the Polka listeners have given their time and money to keep the polka music alive and for it to be taken away from us after all these years is just a tragedy. Who ever made this decision is making a big mistake! Without the polka people the radio station would never be the same. I hope you reconsider your decision because your radio followers will drop dramatically. Also, us polka people are the ones who listen to your radio station to begin with. You will be loosing a lot of attention by following through with your choice. please listen to me, from a 20 year old college student, I love this music and my polka friends and I will continue to pray each and everyday that our beloved polka music will live on at this radio station. We truly are one big polka family!! Please, please, please, reconsider your decision! It will be a big loss for both us and you!

Been listening to polka programming on wmua for over 25 years, and donate annually to wmua because of the power of polka music! Cutting back on polka programming on your station would significantly and adversely impact money raised annually for wmua.
