I enjoy polka music! What is on the airwaves now is just plain garbage as far as music goes!

I listen to the WMUA polka programs on the internet and when in MA, on the radio. Just look at all of the others who listen on the internet. I would guess there are more internet polka listeners to WMUA than any format. With that being said, you should be looking at ways to increase the number of hours for polka programming instead of decreasing them.

What a travesty. A pure act of bias and business stupidity. It's not too late to change your mind.

What programming will replace that blocks that are vacated by polkas? Most of the polish community donated to keep the 6hour blocks. Should everyone ask for their money back?

I listen on regular FM radio and have been doing so on and off for thirty years. Please don't let this gift to the community wither up and die. I can't understand Polish but it's a joy to listen to these shows. Thank you.

More polkas, not less. I can't understand why the happiest music in the world has to fight for survival.

I don't think I'm in a position to "demand" anything, but I sure hope WMUA doesn't cut back on polka!

WMUA polka programming generated so much goodwill toward UMass, Amherst. With one short-sighted decision, all of that has been destroyed. So much for embracing "cultural sensitivity" and "multiculturalism" in the Pioneer Valley, UMass! Do what is right and restore the hours.

As a station alum, I'm greatly alarmed at how the entire focus and operation of the station is being transformed by a small group of power-hungry students. It's sad and disappointing.
