I visit senior citizens on a daily basis as a TRIAD officer for the Franklin County Sheriff's Department , many have the polka show on local cable. Thank you

I have listened to this station since I was a little girl, with my father and babcia! Listening to these shows are so important to me. I listen every weekend on the radio and even when I moved to NV for 7 yrs through the internet.

Cultural heritage of any nature is important for keeping long established rituals, history, identity, customs alive. In a time when families are no longer living in extended relationships, the traditional family unit has evolved away from it's original purpose and children are feeling a disconnect to anything stable and rooted, removing Polish music from an area so rich in it only continues to diminish the identity of our heritage. Elms has a Polish culture center. There is still a crowning of a young Polish woman descent by a Polish organization. Not to mention, $24,000 was raised on the Polish program should demonstrate the support for this Polish station. What will you be replacing the 8 hours with?

The polka shows are why we started listening to WMUA many years ago.
Polkas led us to explore the other shows on WMUA. We contribute for your equipment and upgrades every year. We listen online when away. My nephew listens online from Roatan in Honduras ! He was brought up on Polkas @ WMUA! Please keep all the polka shows intact!

My family has enjoyed the WMUA Polka shows for years. We have supported the fundraisers. It would be a total shame to practically eliminate the polka programming. Why ruin something that has done so good and has been enjoyed by so many for so long?

I'm not of Polish origin (I'm actually Italian-American) but I have always loved listening to Polka music. Our cultures are already sorely misrepresented today...don't contribute to the further decline of cultural programming!
