It saddens me to hear of the cancellation of the Saturday and Sunday's polka shows...a show only on Sunday isn't enough... I born and brought up in Hatfield, so I listened to the Polka hour on WHMP...then moved to Florida in 2003 and listened faithfully to the Saturday and Sunday's show... Having only 4 hours on Sunday to listen to Polish music brings sadden to me....Waking up with Polish morning on the week-ends, was the way to get going in the morning, on Sunday's getting ready for church...Hopefully, the powers that be, will have a change of heart...
Best,

it's a shame that we have to cut out music time on our radios. what will be next? what is more important to fill in this time with? Polish music is a part of our heritage please reconsider your decision.

This must be another LIBERAL University that excels in Student Threats. You were very quick to take our contributions. It' will kick you back where it hurts in the future. Lived in Palmer Mass. for 53 years and now 15 years here in Phoenix, AZ and listen every Saturday and Sunday to their shows. Worry about having better Sports Teams. They both stink!

Why "fix" what clearly isn't broken? Polka music is something the community wants, so there's no reason to get rid of it.

I married into a Polish family. I've gotten to know the community. I don't understand how taking Polka Broadcasting off the air is a positive contribution to students' education! It's teaching that tradition isn't important enough to preserve!
