By signing this petition, I am demanding the return of all 4 polka shows and their hosts returned to their regularly scheduled 12 hr. weekend block.

Disgraceful and shame on WMUA station manager Andrew DesRochers and his UMass staff for this decision. The programming should remain the same until the next fundraising drive in November and any changes should be made at that time. If not, full refunds should be given to those who request one. Keep Polkas on ! they provide happy music instead of the jungle stuff that you hear all over the media now.

Please do not do this to the many people that love, support and enjoy polka music. If you never experienced a thrill come to a dance.

Polka music on WMUA is a great way to wake up to each and every Saturday and Sunday for my 94 year old father. Please reconsider this very unpopular decision as it is a much loved program by a lot of people in the area and in the world!

As a former DJ at WMUA I am completely bummed out by all the changes. Way to ruin something special.

To WMUA Program Management; Please reconsider your decision and re-instate the Polka programming to its original 12 hour weekend format. Based on available public information, I do not understand your decision. The Polka Programs have the largest listening audience of community programming and its listeners provide substantial financial support to the WMUA station. Again, please have some compassion to your Pioneer Valley listeners and restore Polka programming to its original 12 hours. Michael Misiaszek
