There is movement to replace the natural grass on the Placer High School football and practce fields with an artificial turf. We feel that this flies in the face of the sense of tradition that we in the community wish to preserve. We feel that one of the strongest bonds here at Placer is our history and the natural green fields are one of the symbols of that history. We do not wish to succum to the modern fad of the so-called "astroturf". Join with us to show our solidarity to keep Placer green!
