Hi Carol, Thank you for your support! Question: The village has asked us to provide and pay for a porta-san for the market somewhere in or near the park which we will do. Do you have a preference for its location? And if it is something your members would use, we could keep it open during the week too. Please let me know your thoughts and thank you again joe

Joe Serra did an excellent job keeping the FM afloat in challenging times. He should continue operating it for the foreseeable future.

I want to support the proposal by the current operators of Piermont's Farmers Market. It has been one of the most successful years and especially commendable under the difficulties during the pandemic. The warmth and congenial attitude of the vendors and the organizers has created a magical atmosphere that has united friends and neighbors in a safe environment at a much-needed social setting. We would hate to see this lovely market change hands especially when we have become so attached to our vendors. Please please keep the present operators in charge.

We became part of the market this year. It has been run so well and has been a very successful market!

Please allow the farmers market to move back to Parelli Park. The farmers market experience was greatly improved when it moved there last summer. Now it is a market that meets the bar set by other larger and popular lower Hudson Valley farmers markets. As visitor traffic increases, more vendors find participating desirable, which increases the number of visitors, which increases the quality of the market overall. Joe Serra's management has been fantastic. I have seen him make sure vendors adhere to market rules, and make sure visitors are being respectful of social distancing guidelines. Piermont should feel proud of their weekend farmers market and encourage its growth for residents and visitors alike.

I’m in South Nyack and love having this market on the weekend. Can’t really get to the Nyack one during the week. Some different vendors as well that we love like Charlotte’s, Crown Maple, Dr Pickle, Smokin Joes and Anthony’s Greek kitchen.

I live this farmer market. We walk the pier and then do the market.
