My mother is in the nursing home in Piedmont. If this Wal-Mart closes it means that the staff will have to travel 50 miles to get many of the basic things she may want or need.

This store is an important to the community. It is in excess of fourty miles to another store and will be a great and unnecessary blow economically

We enjoy having the Wal-Mart in Piedmont. Please keep it open!

This Walmart is a vital part of our local economy. It provides a valuable tax base to support our town and schools as well as provide much needed jobs.

Please keep walmart open, our community is more important than your profits. This closure will not break your bank, but it will devastate our town.

This walmart has been around since I could remember..feels like forever ago I would spend my grade school summer breaks in Piedmont, mo. Visiting my grandmother, whom worked there for many years. Don't take the memories from people WalMart. Please stay around.

I hope you reconsider the closing of this store. It meets many economical needs of this small community.

This is just wrong.....we depend on that store, the nearest one is over 50 miles away....get it together WALMART...think of you customers instead of your pockets!!!!!!

I can't imagine how far the devastation will carry over if our Wal Mart closes. I am a nurse and know that so many of our elderly and special need people are unable to travel distances to obtain their medications and other supplies. Piedmont is a retirement town and people need to be able to buy their basic need supplies locally. I am all about supporting our local small businesses, but I also know that the presence of Wal Mart keeps the others from raising their prices so that the people on fixed incomes can survive here. Please, find a way to stay here in Piedmont; even if it means accepting the offers of some of the locals to help purchase other land to build.

Please keep our Walmart open. This Walmart not only piedmont customers, but many towns surrounding us. It is so much more convenient than having to run to poplar bluff all of the time.

This small town has nothing if you take Wal Mart. You came in and took over and you now want to pull out. Wal Mart needs to help small town USA.

This closing would hurt our community an we don't need it hurt no more then it already is .....

We need this store very badly in this community. It is really the only thing we have for 45 -50 miles from us. It will devastate our little area.
