This is a small town store that depends on Walmart Clearwater lake tourists use this store in the spring and summer and fall as a main retail store myself included by closing this store it's shows corporate greed at its best

When Walmart opened in Piedmont many years ago, some local businesses like Luna Hardware among others were affected and closed down! Now they want to shut down the store? So now, what about the employees who have faithfully worked there for years? Closing the store will surely be a blow for the economy! Keep It Open! Keep Piedmont from becoming a Ghost Town! Piedmont is a Great Little Town and let's keep it like that!

I do not understand this decision at all. This store is pretty much the ONLY place for folks in this area to shop without making an almost hour drive to Poplar Bluff, MO. The tourism/campers from the Clearwater and Sam A Baker area depend on it. The loss of jobs and revenue would be devastating to this area. Please reconsider!!!!

This Wal-Mart is what keeps this town going, I worked there for 3 years and did all of my shopping there as well! Please keep it open!!!!

I live in the bluff but shop at the Piedmont store. The associates are so nice and helpful.

My first job was Piedmont, MO Wal-Mart. And I'm guessing piedmont would belly up of the store closes.

This store is a necessity in this town. Many people can't get to Poplar Bluff or Fredricktown to shop for non-food items. A lot of people rely on the Pharmacy for their medications.....cheaper than private pharmacies, and it closing would economically hurt this town, not only by putting people out of work, but many residents of this town rely on this Walmart for big purchases. The summer vacationers always stop at Walmart for last minute things they have forgotten to pack. DON'T CLOSE THIS STORE!!! The town NEEDS IT!
