Keep Piedmont, Wayne County Missouri Wal-Mart Open!

The loss of this store would be devastating to the community. Driving 45-60 minutes to the nearest shopping community is a hardship for people who are retired and living on limited incomes.

We use this store several times a year when go camping. It is small but very useful

They need that store in their community!

I believe in free market enterprise so I understand the decision to close this store is one that Wal-Mart has the right to make. However, I would like to know who owns the building the store is in because I have heard a leasing conflict is the reason for the closure. Is this true? What kind of building owner would rather have an empty building than a solid tenant like Wal-Mart? No one else is going to lease that building and it will stand empty and become an eyesore. Of course the building owner has a right do what they want as well.

I'v been a Realestate Broker for years in Piedmont Mo.I know the great need this community has for a Wal-Mart!

We come out a couple times a year to visit my family in Piedmont. We stay at the campgrounds. This Walmart is very important to the campers and the campgrounds are important for the community. Closing this Walmart will greatly impact this entire community.

This Wal Mart is this communities store, and job... people use this store all the time... people from other towns use and count on this store... I for one count on it every camping trip to the lake... Why take something good from this community?

Please keep Piedmont Walmart open. The next closest Walmart is an hour away. If I have to travel an hour, I will not spend those dollars at another Walmart. Closure of this store will have a major impact on this small community.

We don't wanna see this Walmart close down. It's the closet one within an hour and it's very important to our community

We have a lot of senior citizens that depend on us for their everyday needs as well as their medications. It is hard to see people's lives uprooted like this. We are more than just employees were are a family.

This store is extremely important to the entire country! Please find a way to keep it open!

We would have to drive to Farmington for our prescriptions. We are on limited income. We patronize this Walmart at least once a week. It is very much needed in Piedmont, Mo. We need this store to employ the people, we know its a small store, but look at what you are doing to the community!

This Walmart is really need as we have many who come here on vacation, and also to fish and boat in Clearwater Lake. Also this is a community which has a lot of senior citizens who would really be inconvenienced by it's closure. d by it's closure.

Please keep Piedmont Walmart open!

We need this store. If you close this store some of us don't have transportation to go elsewhere to get our supplies.

This is our only WalMart wishing 35-40 miles! Will make shopping very hard on a lot of people that don't have transportation & the elderly that depend on this store!

This region counts on having this Walmart open.
