It is better than town and country and dollar store for a fact cause town and country sells spoiled food and and outdated cans of cat food they are also cheaper for clothes and food also no vehicle can't go to another place to buy baby clothes which dollar store does not carry an abundance of

Just seen this on local news KFVS12 a CBS channel in Cape Girardeau.
Im in Scott City, MO and we want too make it clear too Walmart, that lots of mom & pop stores went out of business when they came too town.
Its horrendously absurd that Walmart now wants too close the Piedmont Walnart!

We need this Walmart it is cheaper than dollar store and town and country also good for jobs and people like me who don't have a vehicle to go anywhere else also their can goods are more up to date than town and country cause town and country sells spoiled food and can goods including cat food

The town needs this Walmart. Other Walmarts are an hour away. That is to many people to put out of jobs. That store brings in a lot of money. Don't shut it down.

My fiancee and her family and I have been traveling and hours and a half to stay in Piedmont on weekends through the summer. Just in the little time we stay in Piedmont, it will be a big inconvenience for Walmart to close. There are many items we can only buy at Walmart because Town & Country does not carry everything. I can only imagine how hard this will be for the residents that live all year in piedmont.

I feel WalMart is needed in Piedmont Missouri. The older folks can't get to any other WalMart as they are too far away. Also when you came into our very small town, it caused the little mom n pop stores to shut down. If Wal Mart was to leave we would have NOTHING!!! Folks come from all over to this store. We have several very very small towns that depend on Piedmont WalMart. Please think of the people. Not to mention the workers that have lost their jobs.

If you must close, let it be only long enough to buy or build a bigger store here in Piedmont,Mo. We love Wal Mart.
