Keep Piedmont, Wayne County Missouri Wal-Mart Open!

Please save our Wal-Mart!

Closing Walmart will devastate Wayne County and the City of Piedmont. The lost employment and tax revenue will have a trickle effect that will have a long lasting effect. Not only do local families depend on the Piedmont Walmart...it's our tourist. Piedmont is dependent on tourism and being a retirement community. I question why did Walmart do a complete remodel to the building? I met a supervisor over the remodel that stated this Walmart was very profitable. Plus the expanded grocery and sporting goods was for the tourist. So what happened since a year ago?? Please reconsider this devastating decision to our county and town.

The folks living in and around the Piedmont are going to be devastated by u not renewing your lease The county needs the revenue to survive Parking lot is always busy Come on reconsider Could up being a bad for the next town u want to move into they may not let u in if they thought u might leave after so many years and bankrupt them U need to explain to your employees your customers WHY u feel the need to leave Please reconsider My friend and I were there just today and we drove over 35 miles on other business Stopped and went and purchased items Went to the Pharmacy to pick up script as Dr is in Piedmont

Some of the elderly ppl cannot drive far distance to get what they need. This would only hurt piedmont. The closet walmart is 45 minutes to an hour. With ppl income it would be hard for them to drive that and make a living.

I think this is so sad for many. Espically now days when kind are hard to find. Alot of the elderly will be affected by this. It is convenient for all the surrounding counties and not including all the jobs that will be loss. I don't know the whole story behind them closing their doors but it will put a big impact on everyone.

We definitely need to keep the Walmart in Piedmont, we have tourist, an a lot of older people in Piedmont, an all the surrounding area that depends on Walmart .

Please continue to be a part of this community. Not only do your associates need their job there, but the people in the town need you. If you leave Piedmont it will be devastating to the town. Please reconsider! Thank you.

Please keep this wal mart open!

We depend on the pharmacy at our local Walmart to be able to afford heart medication. This will impact others like us as well along with our school, jobs, and it will be a detriment to our town.

This Walmart is the only one close to Piedmont! If is is gone no one can get anything when they come to visit or camp for the weekend like I do!

Piedmont needs a super Wal-Mart.

I shop at this store frequently!!! Parking lot is always full when I go!! I don't know what Piedmont and the surrounding area will do if we don't have Walmart!!

My mom, who is disabled, lives there. This truely needs to stay open for this town.

With a net sales revenue of $482.13 BILLION dollars (http://bit.ly/2et2ohP) and an estimated $76 BILLION in tax havens (http://usat.ly/2eDaowS), Walmart doesn't need to close this store. I understand that due to the nature of corporate greed, Walmart doesn't think it's worth the shipping and operating costs to keep a store open this far away from major population centers. 'Rural decay' is a very real thing. And, this is one of the reasons why it happens. But...do you really need this for your books, Walmart?

Please reconsider.....This store is valuable to this area...Especially year round Clearwater Lake. Residents and visitors will be empty. Thank You for your past service.
