Keep Piedmont, Wayne County Missouri Wal-Mart Open!

I am a small business owner and with the type of business I have walmart is a must for us. Driving an hour to go to walmart would cost alot of money that my small business dies not have.

Our community needs Walmart to stay in Piedmont. Not only is it people loosing their jobs, it will take a financial toll on the city of Piedmont.

Walmart needs to reconsider this it is Vidal to those who live and visit there. We would be at a loss when we visit our summer home at the lake.

Walmart is definitely needed here.

Keep Walmart in Piedmont. This is a great small town America!

If we lose our Wal-Mart Piedmont residents as well as Ellsinore residents, Greenville residents, Williamsville residents, and Des Arc/Annapolis residents will be affected tremendously. Without Walmart a lot of people will have to move because I can't afford to drive back and forth to Poplar Bluff in order to get the things that they need. It will hurt our schools because when people decide they have to move we will lose kids there for the schools will not make any money. We need our Walmart the 75 employees that work at Walmart need our Walmart the senior citizens living in this town need our Walmart.

Please keep the Walmart.

Piedmont is a great community. You will find that folks are polite, helpful, and neighborly in. "Mabary" kind of way. That being said, jobs are scarce. Piedmont NEEDS Walmart in their community.

we use this Walmart several times a year when we camp at Sam A Baker state park. We always forget something and are so appreciative this store is right here for us to turn to.

My hometown needs this.

This business is essential for this community and many smaller towns in this area.

The closing would devastate Piedmont and the surrounding areas.

The Piedmont Walmart is a asset to our community. It has been our choice for purchasing our prescription medication since we moved here in 2002. The drive to Poplar Bluff is out of the question for many in our area. Please, please, please don't close this store.

This will hurt more than just a few this will hurt everyone involved in this town everyone is in deep need to keep this in our town the elderly have nowhere to go and this will just devastate them and all the others

I would like for Walmart to stay. This will not only hurt the people who work there, which will be devastating to some of them, but also to our town. The sales tax revenue that this store brings to the city is 1/3 of the city revenue. The surrounding communities will also suffer. People will have to travel, on average, 50 to 60 minutes to the nearest Walmart or other large discount store. The people who can't drive themselves or are other wise limited in their travel ability will have to pay considerably more money for the items they need. Some of these people are on limited income, and cannot afford the extra cost for either higher prices or fuel cost to travel. This store closing is bad for everyone concerned.

There are to many people that depend on their jobs to keep their homes in the area, not to mention all the shoppers that go to wal-mart for extra food or things forgotten at home while camping at Clearwater lake or Sam a baker!! The pediment wal-mart serves very small communities around it as well, most can't afford to run over 40 miles one way to poplar bluff when they need just a few items!

Most of my family comes from Wayne county. My father is 80 years old. What's he supposed to do? Drive to poplar bluff, a 50 mile drive just to get groceries & other things?! Wal-mart think of the people.

This Wal mart serves people from several small towns in the area and it is where many elderly people do there shopping who are unable to drive to Poplar Bluff or Fredericktown. By keeping the Piedmont Walmart open, it will aid the economy of the town and county and keep providing jobs for several people. It is a vital part of the area.
