The current vendor provides an excellent facility for the people of this town, a real quality homemade product at a reasonable price. To try to increase the councils take you put any alternative vendor in a position where the prices will have to increase or the quality will have to be cut to make the business viable. That cannot be good for the users of this service, so not good for us, the rates paying residents. Please act in our interest and alow us to keep the vendor we have.

Phoebe’s kitchen have been a large part of our the community especially during the pandemic ! This would be devastating for the Town of South Woodham Ferrers as the cakes are amazing also encouraging people to walk along the river to enjoy the natural beauty of the countryside that they live in .

Phoebe has worked very hard establishing her small business in a location that was previously getting ECC nothing. Shame on them for putting this out for tender. Are we now living in a World where everything is about money? Is it right for some other caterer with deeper pockets to roll up and cash in on her hard work and vision? I think not!
